Local Lib-Dems Win National Award

Southport Liberal Democrats were honoured at the Party's national conference in Liverpool recently. We were joint winners of the Penhaligon Award.  This magnificent  trophy is presented annually to the constituency which demonstrates the best increase in party membership together with activities to involve members in campaiging, fundraising and social events.

Nigel Ashton collected the award on behalf of Southport Lib Dems, accompanied by Cllr Sue McGuire. Nigel is a key member of the Meols Ward team and also Chair of Southport Lib Dems.
