The North Meols Civic Society entered Churchtown's Civic
Garden in Cambridge Road in this year's North West in Bloom Awards.
The entry for the volunteer-run garden in Cambridge Road,
opposite the Bold pub's car park, won an award with a "Thriving"
commendation for all the community's floral efforts.
